Dear supporters, friends, and members of the LGBT/allied community, Can you make just a monthly donation of $30? Carmen's Place is looking for 100 donors to contribute just $30 per month. For the cost of an average of just $1 a day, you will help us to provide a warm, safe place for homeless and severely abused at-risk transgendered youth.

Since early September, our donations have dropped sharply. Thus as of October 2008, we have been behind in our monthly rent of $3,000. It may be no surprise that the recent economic crisis has affected many people, even our very generous and caring donors. Though their many donations of dollars and supplies count greatly, we are just as concerned that our donors don't exceed their financial capacities.
